Laura Oestreich

Growing up in an alpine ski resort in Switzerland, Laura developed a keen interest and admiration for nature since a young age. She started off studying languages at the French Universities of Bordeaux and Toulouse, and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in specialised translation at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). She worked translating texts for different health-related organisations, including the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health. However, it was not until a close family member got ill that her interest in natural therapies truly awakened. She understood the importance of nurturing and supporting the body in order to boost its inherent ability to heal while preserving quality of life. Her quest for a holistic approach to health led her to discover homeopathy, a system of medicine using natural substances to support the body’s healing mechanisms in the restoration of health. She subsequently enrolled in a 4-year course at the Irish School of Homeopathy and obtained the qualification and licence to practice in 2016. As a 4th year student she had the opportunity and privilege to study at The Other Song Academy for Advanced Homeopathy in Mumbai.

She since has also obtained the qualification to practice CEASE therapy and continues to attend seminars and conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest research and advances in the field of homeopathy.

While growing and expanding her practice, she undertook a BSc (Hons) degree course at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London (Middlesex University) for the academic year 2017-2018.
