Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.

The benefits of yoga are vast. Not only does yoga provide you with poise, balance, flexibility and strength but it also helps you feel centred and more alert.  Yoga can also assist with weight loss, a strong and flexible body, peaceful mind, better sleep, increased vitality, stress relief, reduced anxiety, alleviating back pain, the list is endless. However, very often, yoga is only partially understood as being limited to asanas (yoga postures). As such, it’s benefits are only perceived to be at the body level and we fail to realise the immense benefits yoga offers in uniting the body, mind and breath. The union of these three is where the word ‘yoga’ comes from.  When you are in harmony, the journey through life is calmer, happier and more fulfilled. Yoga can be taught to all ages and is suitable for all levels from beginner to experienced yogi.
